Re-Entry Programming & Curriculum

RJMP has been offering Re-entry Prep Programs in San Diego County Jails since 2015 and strives to offer this curriculum to those who have experienced incarceration and are in the process of reintegrating back into the community.

RJ-RPP is designed especially to meet the needs of people who are preparing to return to their communities after incarceration within the San Diego area. It has a manualized curriculum that is both cognitive-based and reentry-focused. It is grounded in the restorative justice principles and practices of accountability, recognizing harms, developing empathy and remorse, understanding victim impact, and promoting personal healing.

RJRPP is used in Jails, Prisons, and Reentry Facilities and is modified based on the facility needs. Participants explore root causes of the behavior that lead them to incarceration, and understand their impact of the harm and importance of impactful personal changes.
