Community Circles

A circle is a carefully constructed, intentional dialogue space.

Rooted in a philosophy that supports interaction for maximum understanding, empowerment and connection among the participants. The circle welcomes difficult emotions and difficult realities, while maintaining a sense of positive possibilities.

Our community circles operate on five core assumptions

01

All humans are worthy of a safe space to connect with others and share their stories.

02

There is a path to healing from being harmed, and a path to healing from having harmed. Each person determines their healing path.

03

There is no formula to healing. We work towards healing in community, not in isolation or alone.

04

Emotions in the circle are accepted as a reality for that individual but not the responsibility of anyone else in the circle.

05

The circle provides a healthy balance between individual needs and group needs.

Partner with RJMP

RJMP is looking to partner with local organizations to serve and support their communities using circle practices.
